Food & Wine is looking for a responsible, detail-oriented intern for its Wine Department for three to five days a week (24-40 hours) from mid-January through mid-June 2012, with the possibility of extension. A strong interest in and basic knowledge of wine is essential. Some experience in the wine industry is preferred.

The Wine Intern will:

• Perform administrative duties (unpack boxes, call in wine for tastings; obtain wine lists, suggested retail prices, photos, etc.)

• Organize the Tasting Room and catalog wines.

• Assist in researching wine stories.

• Participate in tastings when possible.

All applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

Stipend: $10 per hour
